Only a few days left to take advantage of May's promotions

Hello everybody, how was your memorial day weekend? Our weekend was GREAT, but very busy! I just wanted to send out a reminder that there are only a couple days left to take advantage of Stampin Up's May promotions:

Buy 3 packs of designer paper or textured 12x12 paper get one free.

Become a Stampin Up demonstrator for only $75.00 during May by signing up with the Mini Scrapbooking starter kit.

If you would like to take advantage of either of these promotions call or e-mail me by Sunday! I will put in an order on Sunday so that everybody who wants to take advantage of these promotions can put their orders together so hopefully we can pay only the 10% shipping instead of $6.95 each. If you know somebody who you think would be intersted in ordering who does not read my blog, let them know I'll be placing an order Sunday.
Have a great day, it's raining here and we are in for one more day of this yucky weather. Stay dry!

I'm still here, I promise

Hi all, wow have I been super, super busy this week. I kind of feel like I haven't had a chance to breath. So anyway I am still here, I promise. I'll try and post a sample later, I really do have lots to share with you, just no time to do it. So let's get to this weeks challenge.

This weeks challenge is a color challenge:
Use your in colors. The in-colors will be retiring at the end of June so let's use those beautiful colors before they are gone for good!
Feel free to use other colors with the in-colors just make sure that you have at least one in-color in your project. Any project is fine, card, scrapbook, home decor project, gift giving project. What ever you want to do.

I'm off to my daughters school for the day. It's field day! We are going to have so much fun. Guess what they put me in charge of? Go ahead guess...............................................
arts & crafts, are you surprised?

Have a fantastic day and happy stampin!

Another birthday card

Happy Monday, how is your Monday going? Today I have another birthday card to show you. Isn't this beautiful? This one comes from my sister. She used the big shot scallop die to make this card. This is a technique that we learned at spring fling a few weekends ago. I love the color combination that she used. I think the blue is cool Caribbean, which was an in-color a few years ago and I absolutely love it with the purples. Isn't the flower beautiful? This is also a die for the big shot machine. I think this might be one of my favorites right now. I love all the different layers of petals she used and I don't know if you can see it or not but on the end of each petal she used out embossing powder that has glitter in it. It gives it that added extra touch. Thanks Renee for such a beautiful card. So this also fits in with my challenge for the week to do a project that has to do with a birthday. Anybody else want to play along with the challenge? Have a great day!

Have a great day and happy stampin!

Another birthday card to show

Happy Friday everyone. The weather here in MA is just stunning today. It's sunny, mid 70's with just a slight breeze. I don't think we could ask for a better day! So today is another birthday card that was given to me at stamp club on Wednesday by sweet, sweet Nina. I love this card! I love the combination of pale plum and perfect plum as well as the focal point with the eyelet in the middle. What a creative card. Thank you so much Nina for the birthday card, it truly made my day. So this goes along with the challenge for this week to do a project that has to do with a birthday. So Nina did the challenge without even realizing it. So who else has birthday projects to show me? Get me pictures of your projects by Wednesday and I'll post them here for everybody to see how creative you really are.Big shot class is this coming Thursday at 6:30 pm. If you are planning on coming please let me know by Monday the latest. I want to make sure that I have enough supplies cut out for everybody. Please remember to bring your own adhesive along with sticky strip.

Birthday Card and Thursday Challenge

How is everybody today? I've had a migraine all day. Not fun, but I'm starting to feel better. So yesterday was my birthday and today's card that I have to share with you is from a friend who is also one of my customers. This card is so stunning in real life. It's so sparkly (which we all know how I feel about glitter. LOVE IT!) She did a fantastic job with this card and what a great color combination. The flower is awesome, the top flower is actually cut and popped up on top of the bottom flower. I love the card, thank you Carol. Last night I had a stamp club and one of my club members also made me a card which made my entire day, I'll share that card tomorrow! This picture really does no justice to the card. It's a rainy, dreary day here so unfortunately it means no good pictures.
Ok it's time again for another Thursday challenge. Just a reminder that these challenges are just for fun to get you motivated to do some crafting and maybe give you a direction to start with.
Because this is my birthday week the challenge is going to be...............................
Do a project that has to do with a birthday:
It could be a birthday card, or some birthday packaging, or maybe a scrapbook page of a birthday party. How about some birthday decorations? Alright you have you're challenge, and you have until Wednesday to finish the challenge. Remember that if you e-mail me a picture of you're project I'll post them here for everybody to see. Or if you are one of my local customers and can't figure out how to e-mail me a picture, just bring them to the next event that you come to and I'll take pictures for you.
Happy Stampin and have a great day!
